We sell last season, at what last season is worth.

OUTLET KING is a shopfront for the outlet malls of Korea. The shops that stand in Yeoju, Paju, Icheon, Songdo, Busan and Gimpo list here what is already on their floors, at the prices they already charge. Nothing is manufactured for this site, and nothing is marked up to be discounted again.

The price

Why it costs less

A garment is priced against the calendar, not against how good it is. A winter coat that arrived for last winter is worth less to a shop in March than the rail it hangs on, and that difference — the shop wanting the space back — is what you are buying.

The cut is not a favour and it is not a sale event. It is what happens to stock that outlived its season while staying exactly what it was: new, unworn, with the tags still on.

The stock

Where it comes from

Korea built outlet malls the way other countries built retail parks, and the brands that fill them are the same brands that fill the department stores an hour away. The shops on this site are those tenants — real shops with real floors, not accounts opened to resell.

Each seller lists what they hold. When a piece sells in the shop it goes from the site, which is why the catalogue is small and why what you see is genuinely there.

The season

What last season means

It means the date on the label, and nothing else. It does not mean seconds, samples, returns, or a lower specification made for outlets. Where a piece has been handled on a shop floor and shows it, the seller writes that into the description rather than leaving you to find it.

A coat from last winter keeps you as warm as one from this winter. The only thing it has lost is the month it was made for.

The shops

Who is selling

Every listing belongs to one of these shops, and every question about a piece reaches the people standing next to it.

The catalogue is small enough to read in one sitting. If something is not there, it sold.
